Here’s a new sport for WWF in which they preach the dangers of Global Warming by showing that ignoring it won’t make it go away. Interesting pairing of the theme song from Mr.Roger’s Neighborhood with the shots of natural disasters (my fav. part being the couple out on a walk with their baby in the middle of a hurricane). Directed by Chris Sargent (from Untitled) for FCB Toronto with SFX done by AXYZ.
It was also pointed out to me(thanks Shannon) that this coincides with the release of a British report on the impact of climate change.
UPDATE: Here is another recent article on how companies are starting to be liable(think: class-action-law-suit) for their contributions to global warming.

Here’s a new spot out for HP in which Christopher Mills(SFX Director) shows us a quirky make-believe world where HP servers can fix all office problems(if only that was the case). Conceptualized by Glenn Rockowitz(SCW) and Rob Rich(CD) from Publicis West. I thought this was an interesting animation, nothing groundbreaking, but nonetheless a good watch. See for yourself. (In case you were wondering, the music comes from Tod A @ Paranormal)

Here’s another interesting guerrilla campaign involving the street. Copy reads: “Need a new barbecue? Call Vijay Sales at 2-1216010/17″ Similar to the Folgers campaign that came out earlier this year, this one utilizes pre-existing street features, in this case the grill guard to the sewer, and turns them into something else. Another variation on this type of street campaign was using sandblasters to “clean” your message unto the dirty pavement.
