So the other day I went to check out the WestWayne website only to find the above. I almost closed the window but *thankfully* read it in time to find that this was not the typical “Site not found” but rather a clever swap-out. Turns out they did the SEO on it too, do a search for WestWayne in Google and you’ll find the basic message they’re trying to get across. Site-redesign? Clever marketing ploy? Back-up webserver down + quick fix? Who knows? (Hey WestWayne Friends - feel free to email me with the answer) Either way I’m still curious if this led to any new business leads.

6/12/07 UPDATE: After emailing West Wayne, all I’ve received is a response informing me that Jane Matthews will be out of the office from 5/25-6/04….and that was a week ago. I guess the flood of new business inquiries must have slammed her Inbox! Who would have thought?

Here’s a new one for Absolut Vodka. Done by TBWA/Chiat/Day New York, it shows us what life would be like if you lived in an Absolut World. There might still be civil unrest/protests in the streets, but to me, it seems as if that’s a good thing in this case. You’ll have to watch it to see what I mean but without a doubt my favorite part is the airplanes coming in to drop in reinforcements on the troops. The other piece in the series is a 15-second spot named Swim. You can view that one here.

Both pieces were directed by Fredrik Bond(MJZ was the production company with The Mill doing all the VFX)

Ok you Twitter addicts, Everything’s Better With Brentter is now available via twitter. Check it out here.
If you don’t know what Twitter is, here’s the low-down: It’s a social networking/micro-blogging system that allows you to find out what other people are doing at any given time. What you do is send a one line “twitter” message via your phone or AIM letting others know what you’re currently up to. Cheesy? Perhaps. Addictive? Definitely. And now you can stay updated via Twitter so that every time there’s a brentter.com site update, you’ll be one of the first to know…. cool huh?
Enjoy
-Brent
