Here are two new :30 spots from Arnold Worldwide for the Truth Campaign. Continuing with their ‘hidden camera’ theme, we’re shown a class of college students interested in career opportunities as well as a one-on-one job interview that takes a turn for the worst. The clip shown above is called Customer Service and has a somewhat arrogant employer telling his young interviewee to “Get on the invisible phone” for a mock complaint call (I love that line). The girl should get an “A” for performance in her response to the ‘customer’ informing her about his jaw having to be removed (casually mentioned after a complaint regarding a rude employee). If I was putting together a team to handle complaints, i’d want that girl leading the pack…not only does she react neutrally to the news but she even attempts to retain him as a customer!

Heineken samples a Biz Markie favorite in this latest PSA/Commercial for the beer brand suggesting you keep drunk dialing the local retirement home until you convince someone there to come pick you and your posse of drunken friends up from the bar. This is one cool grandpa. I just wish mine was as big of a fan of early hip-hop as the one in this spot clearly is…

This was brought to you by w+k, Portland and the Jim Lasser Max Erdenberger/Ian Fairbrother (Art Director/Copywriter) duo. Stacy Wall from Epoch Films was the Director. Post production was primarily done at The White House and in case you don’t remember the name of the song, it’s Biz Markie“Just A Friend.”
