Chevrolet – Disappear (Chevy Volt Commercial)

Here is a new commercial for the Chevy Volt – An electric concept car from Chevrolet. Designed to use a household 110-vold plug, the Chevy Volt is supposed to use zero gasoline and produce zero emissions for those who drive less than 40 miles a day. Its projected to launch in 2010.

We have devoted significant resources to this project: Over 200 engineers and 50 designers are working on the Volt alone, and another 400 are working on related subsystems and electric components. That’s how important we think this is, and that’s how much stock we place in the future of extended-range electric vehicles like the Chevy Volt.

Bob Guisgand and Duffy Patten were the Art Director/Copywriter duo from Campbell-Ewald (with Joe Knisely as the Producer).

Eric Saarinen was the Director with Mark Thomas as Managing Director for TWC, Santa Monica (with Craig Repass, Steve Ross and Geoff Clough as Producer/Executive Producer/Production Supervisor).

Nathan Walker was the Lead Inferno Artist from VFX company Ntropic (where Nathan Robinson and Andrew Sinagra are Creative Directors). Dominik Bauch, Maya Korenwasser-Bello, Matt Tremaglio and Jesse Boots were also Inferno Artists for this piece (Marie Denoga and Ed Anderson were the Compositors). Deb Santosa, James McCarthy, Dustin Zachary, Javier Bello, Thomas Briggs and Robert Hubbard were the CG Artists along with Peter Hamilton as the CG Supervisor. Kara Holmstrom and Esther Gonzalez were the Producers from Ntropic with Dana Townsend as the Executive Producer.

Igor Kovalik from Beast, Santa Monica was the Editor (with Amanda Elliott as the Assistant Editor). Mike Pethel from Company 3 was the Colorist.
