This is pretty cool, it’s part of the latest campaign for Tropicana Canada named, “Brighter Mornings for Brighter Days”, set to roll-out after the closing ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics. As a kick-off to the campaign they ventured out to Inuvik, a small town out in the remote Northwest Territories, in order to light up a helium balloon capable of emitting 100,000 lumens. Filmed as part of the campaign this experiment brought ‘sunlight’ to an area of Canada that hasn’t seen the real sun in many months. This piece was directed by Samir Mallal for BBDO Toronto and Film Group, Vancouver/Radke Film Group, Toronto.

Axe Detailer – Clean Your Balls

Yet another sexually charged Axe commercial for their version of the shower sponge – the Axe Detailer. We’re joined by two famously hot women (i.e. if you’ve ever even seen a Maxim magazine before there’s a good chance you’ve seen them half-naked) as they make reference after reference to ‘dirty balls.’ Here’s a favorite:

So how can guys clean their balls so they’re more enjoyable to play with?

(in her sexy British accent) Yeah, I could really play with these balls all day!

I’ll leave all the various other ball references for you to see for yourself. I really don’t have much to say about this one…but I do love it how they named their sponge the Axe Detailer. Thanks BBH London.

Thanks To All The Supporters

I just wanted to thank everyone who graciously donated to the Mustaches for Kids charity drive I was recently a part of to benefit DonorsChoose.org! After a mix-up with donation links, it turns out the majority of donations (especially based off the business cards handed out at Affiliate Summit West) went to the general fund, though thanks to a few emails I’ve been able to track down all donations which didn’t fall under my ‘link.’ So here’s the list of donators who wished to be named along with any URL provided (surprisingly the majority were either anonymous donations or asked not to be mentioned). But to the rest of you, enjoy the backlink (this is a PR 5 site after-all)!

Also, if I have your mailing address you should be expecting a written ‘thank you’ note from me in the next few days and a select few will also be getting my ‘real business card’ along with it (for explanation checkout my ASW thread).

You guys really pulled through and made a big difference in the lives of some lucky public school children. Thanks!
The short list of folks who rock harder than the ending to Freebird:
