Here are two cool new spots for The UPS Store created by Doner and Psyop. It’s an epic 25 second tale called The Rescue. The agency gave Psyop a brief that challenged them to create an epic tale involving a world (and characters) all made out of cardboard….this is what they came up with – Amazing special effects/3D work from start to finish. The second part can be seen below (along with a quote from the designers describing some of the challenges they faced converting this idea into 3D).

Here’s the latest campaign from JetBlue featuring some killer animation. Having spent the last month traveling all over the country, I definitely can appreciate it when airlines go ‘the extra mile’ to make your trip as comfortable as possible. Here are two examples of when a plane flight becomes a nightmare that I’m sure most of you can relate to.

The second one in the series, titled DVD, is equally amusing (shown below).

JetBlue – DVD:

These were produced by JWT, NY with Craig Damrauer and Mike Maher as the Copywriters, Brian Carley and Jacquiline Mellow as the Art Directors and Angela Buck as the Agency Producer.

Againstallodds directed the spots with production company Blacklist, NY. Additional credits found below.

So I’m finally back from ad:tech SF and have lots to update. For those of you who know me, I tend to prefer being on the other side of the camera, but Murray Newlands of Affiliate Heat fame convinced me it’d be a good idea to let him try out his new camera by interviewing yours truly. You can checkout his blog featuring the interview as well as a recently written Twitter ebook that he’s produced over at www.murraynewlands.com.

And now back to the usual brentter.com banter. It’s good to be back home.
