Smirnoff – The Extraordinary Moscow Mule

Promoting the sweet-tasting cocktail concoction called The Moscow Mule, Smirnoff has recently been airing this circus-themed spot from JWT London.

The Moscow Mule, first made popular in the “vodka craze” here in the United States during the 1950s, is pretty simple to make.

Moscow Mule:

  • One part vodka
  • One part lime juice
  • 3 parts ginger beer (ginger ale is a good substitute)
  • Dash of Angostura bitters

    • Rob Welch and Naz Nazli were the creatives behind this commercial for JWT London with Katie Keith and Annabel Bennett as the Agency Producers. Jorn Threlfall from Outsider was the Director along with editing by Peep Show. Music was from Eclectic Sounds with sound design by Wave.

    Smash! – Customs Officer

    Here’s a funny new spot from DDB, Oslo for Norwegian snack food Smash!. Nic & Sun directed this for Motion Blur, Oslo. Post Production was by Fragments and had Nic Osborne as the DOP (Richard Patterson was the Producer).

    Peugeot – Invisible

    Here’s an interesting new spot for Peugeot created by Euro RSCG, Buenos Aires. Named Invisible it shows us a world where every type of vehicle, including those cranes that are used to service power lines, are see-through. A cool scene is where they show a police officer giving a car a ticket. After he walks away you see only the ticket, squished between the invisible windshield and wiper blade, flapping in the wind.

    Matias Carsillo and Juan Cruz Los Arcos were the Copywriter/Art Director duo from Euro RSCG with Jose Chaparro as the Agency Producer.

    Luciano Urbani from Rebolucion was the Director and had Victor Gonzalez as the DP (Patricio Alvarez Casado/Jorge Larrain was the Executive Producer/Producer). Daniela Podcaminsky was the production company Art Director. Post-Production was done by Metrovision and sound was by No Problem.
